Art House Co-op’s Fiction Project 2011 has come full circle - having toured various venues across the US - and my entry The Dust of Life, along with all other entries, is now permanently archived – available for viewing – in Brooklyn Art Library, New York.
Dust, however, continues as a project and I’m excited to announce this limited edition series of fine art prints on silk. The suite of images developed from my Art House Co-op entry, which was on the theme ‘I’m a Scavenger’. I chose to use the theme to highlight the plight of the world’s orphaned and abandoned street children and the subject matter was a gift of a packet of unrecyclable rubbish collected from a beach in England by artist Fran Crowe. The music in the above video is courtesy Rob Stevens of www.rsproductions.blinkweb.com As they are prints, even though limited edition fine art prints, they are small (5 x 7 inches) and so I am able to offer these for sale at only £50 each.10% of all sales will be donated, through www.justgiving.com, to a charity aiding streetchildren/scavengers.
